using old lifetime license on new version issue

Hello

 

My license key appear to not be working

the "license ID"has a green check but the "license key" does not and i cannot click on the activate license button. Please help.

I have the lifetime license key from when i bought it years ago.  I already deactivated it on my old computer.

 

What should i do?

To activate the license, it is best to apply the Windows way of COPY and then PASTE.
To minimize mistakes, it’s best to copy and paste your ID and Key into the program. If you aren’t familiar with how to copy/paste, here’s a great website that shows you how to do that.

1: start the Malwarebytes program.
2: Click "Activate License" in the upper right corner  ( in blue color),  You will then see a smaller window.

3. click on check box line "My license came with a License ID"

4: Copy > Paste  your Key into the Key field.   

5: next,
Now, copy your ID >  PASTE   into the ID field. 
 

5: Click the *Activate  License* button ( in the middle)  to activate your Malwarebytes 3 Premium license

i have the ordinal retail box copy with the card.  Cannot just do copy and paste.
