Can I upgrade my MB Pro 1.75 ?

I have lifetime license for MB Pro which has an ID and Key. (actually 3 licenses) Those work on MB version 1.75.0.1300. Build date 4/4/2013.

I can not get those activation codes to work on MB 2x or 3X. I used MBclean and various other ways to get a newer version to activate but no luck.

I've read this recent post but it appears not to work in my case. 

A clean install of V2 allows input of ID and key but MB throws an error not accepting the activation codes even after running, rebooting using MBClean.

Am I stuck on V1.75?

Hello and Welcome

Yes, if you have valid lifetime licenses for version 1.75 then you can use those to install and register the latest version of MB3.  Are you getting any sort of error when trying to activate on MB3?

Lets get some logs to see what may be going on before we need to possibly validate your licenses.

Let's try and get some logs first so the team can review them and see if they can tell what may be causing your issues....
 

1. FIRST: Create and obtain Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) logs
2. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
   Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
3. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
4. Press the "Scan" button
5. This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
   • Leave the log files in the current location, they will be automatically collected by mb-check once you complete the next set of instructions
6. NEXT: Create and obtain an mb-check log
7. Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
8. Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, press "Enter" to accept the EULA then click "OK"
9. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
   • This file will include the FRST logs generated from the previous set of instructions
   • Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

Here it is. This happens when trying to activate MB 3x. I entered the ID and the key correctly. Thanks

Oh yea, I used mb-clean-3.1.0.1031.exe prior to installing 3x

I have a HTPC running the same version of Windows 10 as above and can hopefully upgrade that version too once we can get it sorted out. Hopefully a step by step procedure is noted on how to proceed upgrading. The 3rd license is not in use currently but would like to put it on another Windows 10 PC. All PC's were upgraded to 10 Home version via the upgrade route from Windows 8.1.

Can you please do the following:

1. Install Malwarebytes 3, but do not activate
2. Go to Settings -> Application and turn on the option for Event Log Data
3. Attempt to activate MB3 with your Key + ID
4. If it fails, run mb-check from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3_check and provide the zip file in your reply
