Hi there, after installing this video player (Splash 2.0) from the official website  : https://mirillis.com/en/products/splash-free-hd-video-player.html

I have two PUP.Optional detected by Adwcleaner : AdwCleaner[S9].txt

False positives ? Or should i worry and delete these registry entries ?

i made two screenshots maybe it can help :

Thank you for your reply Ried.

Can i know what adware is installed with the video player ? I'm pretty sure it's not WinRepair Pro because i don't see any registry entries, files or folders from this thread :

Also i have Malwarebytes Premium and strangely it does not detect anything :c

Can you run FRST64.exe and send me the logs please?

You can download the 64-bit version from here  https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/FRST64

•Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to the disclaimer.

Note: If you are prompted by Windows SmartScreen, click More info followed by Run anyway.

•Click the Scan button.

•When the scan has finished, it will save 2 logs in the same directory the tool was run from. Please attach the following logs in your reply.

I'm sorry, Yom_  somehow I lost my notifications for this thread.

I'm not seeing anything else active in the logs.  All I can tell you is if removing those causes the Splash player to no longer work then either uncheck and don't remove those, or perhaps find another video player. :(

No prob :) I tried to delete these registry entries with Adwcleaner but i noticed if i launch again the video player these same entries are regenerated automatically. I thought this video player was safe cause i analyzed on Virustotal and Malwarebytes the setup program and there are no detections found... Anyway thanks for your help.
