Web Protection not operating

Problem Alert (below) first showed up about a week ago (20/11/2017). Web Protection shown as OFF, when switched ON showed 'starting...' but did not conclude and MWB dashboard still showed 'Your not fully protected'. Have rebooted several times and issue continues.Windows 10 x64 system

It looks like you're still on an older version. Can you try downloading the latest one and see if that makes a difference? You can download it manually at https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 or go to Settings -> Application and click "Check for Application Updates"

Please never try to set MB in compatibility mode. 

Go to the folder C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\
Find the file mbam.exe and right click on it and choose Properties
In the window that pops up click on Compatibility Tab
Remove any changes there that don't match my picture below and click OK

You still need to remove compatibility settings.MB does not work correctly with them on.

Thanks Porthos - I have now done that - the only one that was checked was 'Run as Administrator'
