Heaton Posted November 25, 2017 ID:1186413 Share Posted November 25, 2017 Hi, I had a massive virus yesterday and i think i went through the correct process to get rid of it. It was so strong i couldn't download things and it was preventing me from entering safe mode etc. (i think, maybe im just dumb). However i was able to get my computer into safe mode and manually fully reset my computer with a fresh copy of windows because the computer is fairly new and i wasn't going to miss any files i had. I reset it and everything seemed fine but when i started up my PC this morning right when i got to the desktop 2 CMD prompts popped up for less than a second and went away. Is the virus still on my machine or is this part of the Malwarebytes system? Note: i did do a Malwarebytes scan and it turned up clean right after i saw the two CMD prompts.
