Tray aplication doesn't work

this morning i stated my computer and the tray icon wasn't here i had to manually activate from the folder, why is this happening? what can i do? i have the malwarebytes in my Avast's exclusions and enabled self protection early

i have to add mbam tray to my startup folder to make it work

When i start my pc the mbam services starts but the tray aplication doen's work, i have to manually add mbamtray to ma startup folder in order to make it work, please can someo tell me why is this happending and what can i do, ive done a clean re-instalation, add files and folders to may avast exclusions and activate self protection early start

Could you let me know which files were excluded in Avast? I want to make sure that everything that needs to be excluded, is excluded.

Also, lets try to get some debug logging to see if there is anything happening with the tray service. 

1. Open Malwarebytebytes > Go to "Settings" > Under "Application", scroll down to "Event Log Data" > Toggle "Collect enhanced event log data for support"
2. Perform a computer restart > Wait 5min > Run MB-Check again
3. Attach the logs for us > upload the logs
4. Turn off "Event Log Data" so advanced log capturing stops

Perfect, I will look over the DEBUG logs.

For the time being, could you disable "early start" and do a system reboot for me to see if that fixes the tray icon?

After a system restart (with self protection off - early start), are you still having the issue with tray icon not showing?

In the first couple of posts, it was mentioned that it was turned on. Just want to confirm, thank you.

if i restart the pc then it works but if i shut down the pc and then turn it on the issue is still happening

You're running Windows 10, which has a feature known as Fast Startup enabled by default. When you "shut down" your computer, you're not fully shutting it down. You're essentially putting it into a low power hibernation state that allows the machine to startup faster the next time.

We are working on looking into this issue and our engineers have been made aware.  As it'll most likely require a fix in our code, we currently have no timeline on a fix.

When it doesn't show in the tray, does it show in the 'hidden icons' ? The ^ on the task bar. Check the 'taskbar notification' area.  Type  taskbar in

search and it is one of the options.  I say this because I have seen something like this when an icon did not show up.

Just a note. I disable fast startup on all desktops and some laptops when I find out the laptops don't usually get taken places.  I get many calls about something not working and I ask them to restart and computer finally gets to finish the half-installed Windows update that was causing all of my clients "issues".
