MWB broken after recent upgrade

Hi

Last night MWB prompted that an update was available. The update uninstalled the existing version before installing the replacement, then prompted for a restart to complete the install. When I rebooted MWB was gone from the toolbar and I couldn't find it.

I've carried out a system restore which seemed to partially restore the program, but none of the tray options work/the application doesn't open. If I click uninstall it errors displaying an error that it cannot locate the program.

I'm concerned that I have lost my premium license and hope you can help me to resolve.

Don't worry.

Just download the latest installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3

Run the installer

I tried the mb3-setup-consumer-3.3.1.2183.exe installing which immediately prompted for a restart.

Fortunately after a reboot MWB is now installed and all features appear to be working.
