Like many others in the last hour or so, I've been getting constant Malwarebytes warnings about a blocked outbound website...

Same problem here.  Driving me CRAZY

for what it may be worth, I ran malwarebytes again (update, scan) and have not had the problem since, although nothing showed up in the quarantine. So that makes me uneasy.

Please update your DB Version, then restart MBAM after the update. This should resolve this. If not then please post your protection log and we will review further.

How can I update the DB when this prevents me from connecting to the internet via ethernet or wifi? I allowed it through the firewall and it still blocks all internet access

Add the IP 255.255.255.255 to your exclusions then run an update. Restart MBAM and you should no longer get the blocks.

Then remove the 255.255.255.255 Exclusion.
