Web Protection is off as well as malware protection

Hello @Clang,

Got a few things to cover.

Could you get us an FRST log.

  1. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
    Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
  2. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
  3. Press the "Scan" button
  4. This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
  5. Upload both logs (FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

From the logs that I do have, you are using an older version of Malwarebytes, try upgrading to the latest version here:

It looks like there may be AVG on the unit as well. Try to adding us to exceptions in their product

@Clang

Go ahead and do the 2 other things I added to my original reply.

Also, from the last batch of logs provided, there looks to be system structure damage which means bad sectors on the hard drive and/or the hard drive in the computer is starting to fail. I can't confirm that 100% from just the logs, but there is a chance that the hard drive is on "its way out". May be something to consider getting looked into further. The system is also crashing or "BSOD'ing" according to the logs I am seeing which explains the "check disk". Also a sign of a possibly failing hard drive.

You can try this hard drive diagnostics tools but it will not be 100% accurate due to running together with the system and not on it's own but should be a good place to start looking into hardware issues:

Get Seatools

@Clang

This leads me to believe that the hard drive may be failing or is damaged.

Since Seatools is not picking up the drive, you can try locating some other hard drive testing tools or seek professional help in diagnosing the drive. We are limited in amount of hardware testing we can do through forums. Just going based on information shown in logs.
