seems to be a corruption of MalwareBytes or a fake MalwareBytes.
The Pop-Up is phony, and the file it pretends to be blocking from going out, does not exist.
Excluding the dropbox folder does not help.
It does not seem to be affecting dropbox, it is just a nuisance making MalwareBytes look stupid.

That's not what I think.  Right button clicking on the MalwareBytes icon in the system tray give the option to exclude 255.255.255.255, so the popup is legit.

I'm having the same problem, and MalwareBytes claims that it has the latest version.

I sure don't like all this unnecessary bother.  One would only hope that a product designed to help you avoid trouble wouldn't add to that trouble.  Don't these guys beta test their software before dumping their errors onto all of their customers?

Database issues happen to any security product.

Did you click the word "current" like the above image?

I started receiving this message yesterday, 2017-11-20, and several times today.

Website blocked:
IP Address: 255.255.255.255
Port: [68]
Type: Outbound
File: C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

There was a message that I could set up an exclusion but I'm hesitant to do that not knowing what it is.

I updated the database and it's still happening.

Attached is the incident report.

Please advise.

Thank you.
