antivirus pro

Recommended Posts

i am attempting to follow and use the steps in the pinned thread "MBAM won't run(Fix), SystemSecurity".

i have the procexp.exe running and have highlighted files as shown in the image.

i cannot find the process i need to kill to allow me to install the MBAM.

this antivirus pro thing is pretty nasty.

it will not allow any programs to open including a dos prompt and has hijacked the browser as well.

i am fairly adept with PC's and need some help to get the MBAM installed and running.

Hi rehit and welcome to Malwarebytes.

See if this will run:

Please run a GMER Rootkit scan:

Download GMER's application from here:

Unzip it and start the GMER.exe

Click the Rootkit tab and click the Scan button.

Once done, click the Copy button.

This will copy the results to your clipboard.

Paste the results in your next reply.

Warning ! Please, do not select the "Show all" checkbox during the scan.

Also try running this after that:

Download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post please post the one that is not minimized.
