Ransomware module causes high cpu usage

Recommended Posts

Hello

When I enable the ransomware module, my CPU usage keeps above 12% all the time, so I have disabled this module.

How to fix that?

I have the following configuration

  1. Malwarebytes premium 3.3.1 (updated)
  2. Bitdenfender total security 2018 (with a ransomware module that is enabled)
  3. Windows 8.1 (pt-br)

Meanwhile is there any way to disable bitdefender alert that I am not totally protect because only the ransomware module is disable?

Thanks

Most likely this is due to having two ransomware modules enabled. If you disable Bitdefender's ransomware protection, does your CPU lower?

As for how to hide the message, under Settings -> Applications, you can disable the option for "Show notifications when Real Time Protection settings are turned off". This is for Malwarebytes though, not for Bitdefender
