Computer having performance issues

Recommended Posts

I used to be able to play cpu heavy games like the witcher 3 and fallout 4 but lately I have been unable to run them at a good framerate. Some time ago I was infected by a virus and after the infection (I think) my cpu was not running these games like it used to. But whether my computer still suffers from the virus infection or my hardware is malfunctioning is unknown to me. Could anyone guide me through this issue? What programs should I run to test my hardware? Should I just format my drive? etc. I tried getting help from reddit and one user told me this

" you're using windows 7, and you have quite a few weird folders in windows folder and i am not sure if they are legit. Like random numbers ex.C:\Windows\SysWOW64\1042" and

"You also have errors in event logs from .NET Runtime Optimization Service which causes a performance hit until it gets shutdown."

What I have already tried:

• Malwarebytes

• Uninstalling unwanted programs

• Cleaned out my startup programs

• Checked my cpu usage

• ran adwcleaner, roguekiller, eset, farbar.

I also attached my farbar files.
