I just installed MBAM as I realized our computer security needed to be revamped. Had a heck of a time getting it to run, and is still hit and miss. Finally got it to work by renaming the file when downloaded and installed. Was able to update (after several "error 732" messages) and ran complete scan, which detected several trojans. However, when I try to start protection I get an error 1073 message, though the page shows "protection module enabled". Several minutes later get an error 2 message and page shows "protection module disabled". Have uninstalled, run mbam-clean, reinstalled several times and the only change is that MBAM will sometimes start now. :( I'm pretty much a beginner at anything other than basic computer use, so any help is greatly appreciated.
