NetCentric Posted November 6, 2017 ID:1179581 Share Posted November 6, 2017 (edited) I wish to use a third party app, like CCleaner for example, to delete the logs/reports that show up in the "Reports" tab. I don't want to have to go into Malwarebytes and do this manually. I also don't see an option to NOT keep reports (although it may be there somewhere). I see the logs/reports are located here... C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs Is it OK if I just delete everything in that folder? Thanks Edited November 6, 2017 by NetCentric
dcollins Posted November 6, 2017 ID:1179583 Share Posted November 6, 2017 The \logs folder is not what you want to delete, as this keeps critical system logs in case of an issue with MB3. You will want to delete the different \*Detections folders in \ProgramData\Malwarebytes, and \ScanResults for your scan files. That being said, you will have to turn off Self-Protection for this to work, as these folders are all protected.
