Now that you have the latest version, you will need to provide new logs so the team can review them to see what may be going on.

Let's try and get some logs first so the team can review them and see if they can tell what may be causing your issues....

  1. FIRST: Create and obtain Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) logs
  2. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
  3. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
  4. Press the "Scan" button
  5. This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
    • Leave the log files in the current location, they will be automatically collected by mb-check once you complete the next set of instructions
  6. NEXT: Create and obtain an mb-check log
  7. Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
  8. Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, press "Enter" to accept the EULA then click "OK"
  9. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
    • This file will include the FRST logs generated from the previous set of instructions
    • Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

I'm having the same issue. I'm running Malwarebytes Premium version 3.2.2. I see that there is a later version (apparently version 3.3.1.2183), but although I've got Malwarebytes set to "Automatically download and install application component updates" every hour, it has not updated itself to the latest version. Let me know when you get this fixed.

Updates are metered so you will eventually get it.  That being said you can simply download the latest and install it.

Download Latest MB3 v3.3.1.2183 CU 1.0.236 ->>RIGHT HERE<<-

I don't mean to hijack this thread but when you say web protection doesn't work, do you mean it doesn't turn on, or is turned on but not working?  The only reason I ask is that I also have Kaspersky and the same thing is happening to me.  I'm not sure whether this is just a problem with my PC or is prevalent to all PC's with KIS + MBAM combinations.

Malwarebytes is probably aware of the situation though as I reported problems in another earlier thread.

Which ever version I had of MB3. It would install and everything working including 'web protection'  After a few days the MB icon on the task bar would show a warning and a pop-up would tell me that the 'web protection' is not activated.

To solve this temporarily, I would 'quit' MB on the task bar and then re-install MB3 and then everything would be ok for another day or so.

But since doing as suggested changing settings in Kaspersky. So far, all is ok.

Yes the web protection is turned on but doesn't block anything, only when i uninstall kaspersky

Seems a general problem with this combination

hope they fix this soon

Same thing as I am getting then.  Complete uninstall of Kaspersky is the only thing that will bring it back.
