MBAM slow to "wake up" from systray

It takes an awfully long time between clicking "Open Malwarebytes" on the systray icon and the window actually showing up. Once it's open, I can close and reopen again with the usual, reasonably expected speed and responsiveness. Is the full program not open at system start? What's the point of the additional, hidden "MBAM Tray Application" window if nothing's actually preloaded?

I made a similar post last week about the free version being slow to open on the first launch of the day.

I didn't get any reply.

This is currently expected. The service is running which is what the main program connects to, but it takes a few moments to load the proper resources. We are looking at ways to improve this time though

If I am not mistaken, this is when the Premium version is running and protecting your computer, like web blocker, for example.  Is this what you mean?

Are you on the current 3.31? Are you using a standard theme or the "classic theme"?

{EDIT} Nvm, apparently "Automatically download application updates" doesn't mean "Automatically download application updates". Neither does "Notify me when something new is available" mean what it says.

Can you try installing the latest 3.3.1 over your existing product and let me know if that worked.

Just download the latest installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3

Run the installer on top of your existing product. No need to uninstall. Restart after.

Yeah, ran the manual check for app updates already, like I said. Systray hidden window is gone.
