Hello and Welcome!

Let's try and get some logs first so the team can review them and see if they can tell what may be causing your issues....

  1. FIRST: Create and obtain Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) logs
  2. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
  3. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
  4. Press the "Scan" button
  5. This will product two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
    • Leave the log files in the current location, they will be automatically collected by mb-check once you complete the next set of instructions
  6. NEXT: Create and obtain an mb-check log
  7. Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
  8. Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, press "Enter" to accept the EULA then click "OK"
  9. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
    • This file will include the FRST logs generated from the previous set of instructions
    • Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

Firefox Master Blaster, not my first rodeo in the mighty bug hunt and thank you for your quick detailed response. Attached are the files you requested. If you don't find a smoking gun there be advised a G-Force event jarred my hard drive. Damned dog dragged wires knocked my tower over, chkdsk found many errors and this glitch MB had showed up after the event. I have uninstalled and reinstalled MB and my issue seems to have gone away possibly by a damaged file replaced by the reinstall. Still I have many TSR bug kills to my credit and lets drag the lice comb through to make sure we have a stable lock tight system. She's an older Dell Inspiron 518, the grandmother of your system, running OS Version   Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate smoking a Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz pushing 4 GB DDR2 UDIMM 800MHz NON-ECC on 6 GB Virtual spinning up a ST1000DM010-2EP102 SATA Device and her blinking lights are driven by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460. A 10 year old system that still out performs many systems off the crapola shelf I reinvented her from scavenged parts people just threw away praying the the upgrade God that their user mistakes will go away if they throw money at it. Anyhow thanks for your help and look forward to your reply. Starz out

"installer_version" : "3.2.2",

Let us get a clean install of the current version. 3.3.1

We have another tool called MB-Clean which will automate the whole process for you.

Tool can be found at https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean

1. After downloading the tool run the tool.

2. The tool will automatically clean up the older possibly damaged installation and will ask you for a restart.

3. Restart your system and then the MB-Clean tool will prompt you to re-install the latest product .

4. Click on "Yes" to reinstall MB 3.×.

5. Now you will have the latest product installed. If it does not offer the new install after the reboot you can download and install from here.

https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3

Please let me know if you are still seeing issues after the latest product install.

Thanks Porthos, after several days of close monitoring I have found the system has stabilized after chkdsk and a reinstall of MB 3.x. No issues I can see in any of my logs and network traffic, smooth sailing ahead now bring me that horizon.......Starz out

I would be interested if you see anything in these logs out of the ordinary. Call me paranoid but I have seen allot of BS since 1980 and most of it caused by Microcrap.

All I did is notice you were on an old version and got you to update the program.I did not dig any further even if I did others on the malware cleanup section would have to assist.
