Attempting to install on Macs running High Sierra, unable to allow

Recommended Posts

When I get to the point where I'm prompted to go into security and "Allow" the extension to load, clicking has no effect on two of my Macs. Both problem machines are Minis running High Sierra. I was able to allow the load on a MacBook Pro and a Mac Pro.

Any ideas?

Okay, solved it. The common denominator is both Minis are headless multimedia servers. I attached a physical mouse to each and could click the allow buttons successfully. I guess there's something preventing such permissions from being granted via remote desktop session.

Yes, I believe that those buttons are protected against remote or scripted access, to prevent potentially malicious software from allowing itself.

I'm glad you got it taken care of!
