Updates not working for me

@Porthos I have the beta installed on all 5 computers and experience it a lot. The point being that the beta sure didn't solve the problem for me.

I ignore it because I know that it will soon begin the process of downloading and installing the update.

If only the program could wait a reasonable period of time before it complains about no update I feel it would stop lots of complaints.

Never said the beta would fix this specific issue. The only time I see that warning is when the computer has been sleeping or turned off for more than 24 hours.

From my experience with my computers and my client's computers is this issue is a non-issue because that is the way the notification which can be turned off in settings was meant to be.

By default MB checks for updates every hour. Since 15-20 or more updates are produced each day, 24 hours on a program that protects from zero-day threats is an eternity.

BTW my computer is on and connected to the internet 24/7...

Same here.

I just don't let it bother me but it it could be fixed, it would be great and would stop a lot of posts here.
