MBPREMIUM-3.22 Protection Disabled

My Malwarebytes Premium 3.22 protection (Windows & Professional PC) keeps shutting off and fails to permit restarting. This is a new problem, it had been working flawlessly since May, 2017.  I tried uninstalling>rebooting>reinstalling, but problem persists. Please see attached screenshot.

How can this be resolved?
