Upgrade Won't Install

I have had MBAM Premium for a number of years. It has always worked great until a week ago. I went to upgrade to the new version but it won't install (the file downloads but won't go past the question regarding language), keeps on generating an error message." The program requires Service Pack 3." I have Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and I understand there is no such thing as Service Pack 3 for Windows 7. I am at a complete loss?? Also, the previous version completely disappeared! Please any solutions! MB support has been of no help!

It sounds like you are running the file in compatibility mode. Please right click the file and choose Properties. Then go to the Compatibility tab and make sure everything is unchecked. Also click on the "Change settings for all users" button and make sure all the options are unchecked

They usually do not delete posts unless the original poster requests it...

I am attempting to download the upgrade NOT run the program. The older version was completely deleted when attempting the upgrade.

Also, my original post was moved to someone else's post (and their posts were deleted)!

@lap1080 I understand you're trying to install, compatibility settings can be still be set on the installer.

If you right click the mb3-setup-consumer-3.2.2.2029-1.0.212-1.0.2951.exe file, then click on Properties, there should be a compatibility tab at the top.
