MB3 opens up all 'scrunched up'!

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Since the MS Creator update my MB3 opens with all the right hand side in a jumble  (screen grabs before and after). It vexes me that I have to expand it manually to be able to see and read the info it's offering. It also doesn't reopen where I place it on my desktop. So, is this a common issue or could this be a scaling issue. What ever the reason, is it possible to fix one or both, I can't figure it out.

Anyone else having this problem?

Please advise and cheers . . . . . . str8shtr

Could be a scaling issue for sure... have you tried a clean re-install?

Let's try this first.... (Malwarebytes clean removal tool will backup your license information and then re-enter the license to the new install)

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (NOTE: After uninstalling with the mb-clean tool you will be asked to reboot. Once you reboot it will ask you if you want to re-install Malwarebytes, you can select YES (it will download the latest version) or you can download the latest version manually (currently v3.2.2.2029 CU 1.0.212) to re-install from HERE)
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (after you run all the tools requested, all the logs will be combined into one log file named: mb-check-results.zip located on your Desktop (which will include the FRST logs inside the zip file))
  3. NOTE: More info about the latest Malwarebytes 3.2.2 HERE; MB 3 User Guide ONLINE; MB 3 User Guide PDF; MB 3 FAQ: Malwarebytes 3.0 - Frequently Asked Questions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank You,

Hi Devin,

It's set @ 100%, recommended by Windows and only one other application does this as well - Roboform. It's not the end of the world. Besides, I have decided to do a complete clean install of W10 Pro 64bit on another SSD as I am seeing performance issues having my OS on a Samsung EVO m.2 NVme in an ASUS Maximus Code motherboard. Performance reduced by about 25% which is unacceptable. I believe when I get this done all will right itself. I say this because the last GPU update I did I failed to revert to a single screen prior to installing it. I now thinkl this may have a lot to do with the scaling issues in MB and Robo.

Thanks for reaching out, I will contact support if I have more issues. If so, will you leave this ticket open or will I be opening a new one, assuming the scaling issuer is still present?

Cheers . . . . . . . . . str8shtr
