Icon still remains in the notification center despite being uninstalled

I installed Malwarebytes last month (trial version). But i uninstalled it last week. But somehow the icon still remains in the Notification Center. And i am getting this message (2nd Photo) if i try to click "Open Malwarebytes".

 

 

 

What should i do?

You did not uninstall it properly. You can't just drag the app to the trash. In general, any software that requires an installer also requires some kind of uninstall process.

To properly remove Malwarebytes for Mac, you need the uninstaller, which is found in the download with the installer. If you no longer have that, re-download it from here:

https://malwarebytes.com/mac
