Removed malware from system32 folder computer froze

Recommended Posts

So I ran a malware, anti virus and anti spam ware scan while I went to my college classes today, (October 2nd) when I can home the computer said it had malware in the windows/system32 folder, I proceeded to quarantine the file at which point my computer completely restarted on it's own and then froze, it has so far stayed frozen in restart for 30mins without doing anything. I'm not very well versed when it comes to computers so help would be appreciated.
