Conflict with Comodo Firewall

Recommended Posts

After recently registering the program and enabling the protection, the service continuously uses 50-60% of my CPU when Comodo Firewall is running, wasting a lot of power with the fan constantly running. This happens both when I manually start the firewall and when it automatically starts with the computer.

More precisely, the cpu usage goes up and down constantly. It goes to 100% when the System, Comodo firewall, and mbamservice.exe are using the CPU, then drops down to about 10% after switching only Comodo firewall is using the CPU. The cycle continues indefinitely until I stop either the Malwarebytes' service or the firewall. Is there any method to resolve the conflict?

You may also need to exclude MBAM's files from Comodo or add them as trusted. The files are:

  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam-dor.exe
