S.V.P. How to know if there is an update to be made? I do not see a button for that!

Hello, @derymar- Welcome to the forums.

Each previous version of the Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta should automatically update to the next available version, and show you a prompt when that update is available. There is no update button built into this Beta application.

Currently, the latest version is our Beta 9, version 0.9.18.807, with Component Update 1.1.100 being the latest available for Beta 9. The Beta 9 installer comes with Component Update 1.1.86, and some minutes after install,  the Component Update package will get updated to the latest.

Beta 8 versions should receive an automatic download and update to Beta 9. Beta 8 is version 0.9.17.661

If you have a version that is older than Beta 8, you will need to manually download the latest version. Versions older than Beta 8 will not upgrade to the new Beta 9, by design. Our recommendation in such a case would be to uninstall the older version of Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware before installing the latest Beta 9 build.
