Rack-search chrome redirect

Hi, 

I purchased Malwarebytes for my mac and it is not finding anything (it did earlier one time) but it does not seem to have fixed the problem. 

My husband clicked on something he shouldn't have and when ever we open his Chrome it redirects the home page to 

rack-search.com

I have uninstalled all extensions, made sure his home page and search engine are both google. 

What else can I do. thanks

After removing everything that MalwareBytes finds, you will often need to change the home page and  / or search engine which was changed by that malware.

See Set your homepage and startup page and if necessary Set your default search engine.

I think this might have been it...there was another advanced setting in chrome 

Manage on Startup....that one was still set to rack-search.
