High Sierra problem

Yes, that's the new normal in High Sierra for any app that installs a kernel extension. You must follow the directions in the installer and/or the Malwarebytes app to allow the kernel extension, otherwise the real-time protection will not work properly.

Don't get me started on this... it's a horrible user experience being imposed on us by Apple, and it affects many pieces of software.
