Why Does Malwarebytes quarantine its competition??

I recently purchased Thor Antivirus, a Malware and Adware Scan & Remove app, highly ranked in the Apple App Store. When I attempt to install it, however, Malwarebytes quarantines it so that it does not show up in my Applications folder.  How can I over-ride this?  Is there a way to have Malwarebytes make an exception?  On the surface, it seems you are unfairly targeting your competition!  I am a premium user of Malwarebytes and want to also use Thor Antivirus to make sure I am protected.  Reviews in Apple's App Store say that Thor Antivirus catches things that Malwarebytes misses!
