Malwarebytes Detecting Asus Smart Doctor As Malware

Is this a false positive since i have been using this program, which is for controlling my GPU fan speed, for months and never got a warning from it

I have updated malware bytes to the latest version

I am rebooting my computer and running a full scan to check the results

Hear is the file, it seems that this single file causes two items to be detected as malware unless i cam mistaken?

This is indeed a false positive and will be fixed in the next update.

1- Hi, i just want to be sure that i sent you the right "infected" file because there were lots of program type files in the ASUS folder; did you also get the two "malware" items that i posted in the OP when using the malwarebytes version that i am using?

2- If so, if i may ask, how do you know its a false positive?

3- When can i expect the update to acknowledge the false posative

The update is already out.

We analyzed the file and its Written by asus.

Sorry to keep pestering you, one last question...

 

I just want to be sure that the file i sent you did actually get flagged as "malware" (even though it isnt) when you did your scan with malwarebytes.
