MBAM icon gone after todays update install

I got a notification from mbam to update my mabam.  Im not sure what version it was but Ive had it since it was a 1 time fee for lifetime mbam premium.  I updated from the notification popup and then restarted, I agreed to all terms of service and installed it in default location, I also unchecked the desktop icon option.  I have no icon in system tray and can not even find any evidence of malwarebytes even being on the computer now.  Ive restarted several times.  NOT COOL!!!!

Can I just do a system restore to get the old mbam back?  Im on windows 10 premium.

Just reinstall over your system...

Ok that brought it back and is 3.2.2 the most recent version that i attempted to install this morning when this all started?  It does say im up to date.
