web sites exclusions

Recommended Posts

Hello and Welcome...

Wildcards are acceptable as far as I know, however to exclude a website (and you can try the wildcard) do this.

  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Exclusions Tab
  3. Click Add Exclusion Button
  4. Select Exclude a Website
  5. Click the Next Button
  6. In Domain or IP Address enter address.com or IP you want to exclude
  7. Click OK
  8. Repeat for any other sites you want to exclude

Yes but if my website address is http://mywebsite.com/ I can exclude this one but Malwarebytes block all of sub-domains of http://mywebsite.com/ as http://forum.mywebsite.com/ If a website have a lot of sub-domains i'm obligated to exclude every sub-domain one by one.

Malwarebyte should be have a [all].mywebsite.com function.

You can always submit that as a request HERE

That being said, I assume that your website and sub-domains all share the same IP, if that is the case then exclude the IP and that would take care of the issue...

Ok, I'll try with the IP for now.

At this time we don't support wildcard exclusions for websites, but it's something on our roadmap for the future

Thanks @dcollins ;)
