Instead of updating, Malwarebytes Just deleted itself

I just got the request to update, and went through the steps, the instead of installing it just deleted itself. How do I download and keep the licence I had?

Your license should work . Just download and run the installer.

Just confirming what is being reported on multiple threads here.  I was at a new client's home on Monday afternoon.  She had purchased MBP on the 26th of August.  She was having issues with her computer and wanted my help.  The first thing that I noticed was that MBP 3.1.2 was requesting to update.  I told it to do so, then got the reboot message, and once rebooted, another reboot message, and then 'POOF', after the reboot, MBP was totally GONE.  I ran the MB_Clean tool, in preparation for a completely new install, and it report no traces of MBP found.  I then downloaded and installed 3.2.2 again, and this time it worked.

Oh, and I did solve her other issues.

In other news, the MBP 3.2.2. update has not been issued for my computer, which is booted daily and checked for updates.  I am not so sure now that waiting is a bad thing ...

Metering has been cut off for now(I think) due to the install issues downloading the current installer and installing over the top should work just fine.

Thank you for your reply.  I suspected, from what I was reading here in the Forums, that the automated rollout had been slowed or stopped.

I am not in any rush for 3.2.2.  One does not need "extra" issues with one's computer.  I will probably wait for the program to notify me to update, which I am sure that it will, once the install issues have been resolved.  The staff here have been kept incredibly busy since Version 3 was first introduced!  I am sure that it was not something planned or anticipated, but it could be a "case study" for the need for very rigorous Quality Assurance before releasing a revised program with so many major enhancements.

Hello riahc3,

We are aware of the issue and will be pushing out an update to fix this.  The intention was to have a user reboot and re-run the installer automatically after the reboot if there were any issues in the installation process.  Unfortunately this issue is affecting many of our users so we are working to collect information to identify this is the same issue and will have a new build soon to fix this issue.

@Applemilk - If you could run mb-check and attach the zipped logs, that would be very appreciated.
