Can't register for account

Trying to set up an account on the Malwarebytes website for my (newly purchased) software and it's not working. First I get a message that says "Your Malwarebytes account is already setup, click "SIGN IN" button to login to your account or the "Forgot password" link to reset your password.". I never created a password so I click on "Forgot password" and it says "You have not set up your account. Please check your email for instructions to set up your account.". So I go to my email and click on the link in my email, and it just takes me back to that first message again. I'm stuck in a loop, it shouldn't be this difficult! :angry:
