Malwarebytes outdated and not updating

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have several machine out of the internal network with Malwarebytes Enterprise 1.75 installed. When I turn the machine on I have Malwarebytes warning me the database is outdated, when I try to update it I receive a message telling me I already have the latest database but it is not.

The only way I have to update it is to connect the client to the internal network and contact the my malwarebytes server.

Does the client need to contact the server after a while to keep working?

I apologize for my English.

Thank you

The client install must be in constant contact to the management server in order to update if you have the policy configured to receive database updates from your management server. You are also quite out of date as far as program version if you are still running 1.75.1300, our latest is 1.80.0.1012 and is controlled by console 1.8.0.3443. Upgrading your console and Anti-Malware install will give you another choice for updates, for the client machine to go on the internet and get them itself, so it will not matter if these machines are on the internal network or not, they will still update their signatures. Be aware though that they will need to be on the internal network in order to be updated and to pull the new policy changes.
