FireFox crash - 3.2.2.2018 on XP

[RYU81]

after install verion 3.2.2.2018 my firefox v52.3 crash but if stop Malwarebytes my firefox open again.

Are you using WinXP. If so, there seems to a compatibility issue that will be handled by staff after the holiday weekend here in the US. Patience please.

If not XP, please provide your logs...

@RYU81 if you  are on XP,  if you disable Self-Protection in Malwarebytes Premium or Trial does the crash issue in Firefox still happen?

Of course, that is a workaround and it cripples MBAM security. Some have switched self-protection back on and found that the browser continues to work. Whether that holds up against a reboot is not described.

@RYU81 - thanks for confirming. My observations are that if Firefox is launched before self-protection is enabled, Firefox will work without crashing for that sessions.

And yes, this is a workaround, not a solution. I've filed a defect for this in our backlog, for further investigation by our Dev team.
