Random Permission

Recommended Posts

I'm seeing this as well.

@MAM Go to Settings/Apps and click the gear icon. Select "App Permissions".  Scroll down to the bottom and select "Additional permissions".

You then may see this new permission.  These instructions are for Android 6 so YMMV.

On my phone Malwarebytes is associated with this permission but it has not been granted.  That is, the on/off slider on the Malewarebytes entry is "off".

I think my cheap Chinese phone has some infections, some from the factory no doubt, and I've been combing through the apps/permissions to try to find things that don't "look right", and this is the first time I've seen this permission.

Hello, well i understand now nothing in this issue. Please forgive me i am not a native speaker in english, i am german. It is some times hard for me to undersatnd the English or Amirican Languages here, but that is my own problem. Back to Topic, i have here not this strange message, because i use here a Smartphone called Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, Android 4.2.2, GT-I8200N. Not rooted device, i think. But iam bought Malwarebytes Mobile 3.0 it, two hours ago. And I do not see any difference, still had 10 days.

Hello all,

Yes this permission is from our app. This permission called virtual permissions. They are not real permissions related to your device. However, they are used for internally. This one gives us ability to protect our protection services not to be exploited.

We are adding more explanation for it in the next release.

I hope other people see your responses to this person's questions.  And you really expect people to pay for malwarebytes.  lmfao.

Even the "staff" response.

Jesus Christ have mercy on us.

yes I wanna pay for your product
