Manage Exclusions Pop Up Box

Recommended Posts

For several weeks my computer email has been freezing. I use Chrome.  I went back to Firefox and it did the same thing. but worse. Also, I have been getting the pop up window on right side for Manage Exclusions.  For the past  3-4 weeks I am getting multiple exclusions. Are these malicious web sites? If not what is the reason my computer is freezing?  Also, I just listed my first exclusion IP address. Is there a setting that I can do that will stop all the pop up exclusions if they are not a threat? If I have to exclude all of them I will not get anything done because there are so many of them. Like I said this just started 2- 3 months ago. I may not have stated this properly so ask questions if needed. I really don't understand any of this but trying to. Thank you for your help.

It is hard to say what is going on there. It is possible that it is just blocking AD servers or it could be other things.

Let's get some logs, please.

  1. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
NOTE: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
  2. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
  3. Press the "Scan" button
  4. This will produce two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
    NOTE:
These two files will be collected by the MB-Check Tool and added to the zip file for you
  1. Create and obtain an mb-check log
  1. Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
  2. Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, then click "OK"
  3. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
  4. Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area
