anti-ransomware won't switch on

Hello - 

I updated my malwarebytes premium today to 3.2.2.2018.  Prior to that point I hadn't had any problems with having the components enabled.  following this the Ransomeware protection was switched off.  When I try to switch it on it moves to starting, but if I close the window and reopen the indicator returns to off.   I followed the recommendations for getting help and have attached the mbcheck log. Could you please help me resolve this issue?  thanks!

I'm not sure what but it looks like Unicode characters are showing up in the service log. It's possible that something got corrupted during the upgrade process.

Please open Malwarebytes, go to Settings > Protection, and uncheck the "Enable self-protection module" then go to the "My Account" tab and Deactivate your license, or you can let the MB-Clean tool do it for you.

Let's do a clean removal and reinstall of the program and see if that corrects the issue.
