Malwarebytes not running

OK...so I was infected with the system security and AV Care virus thingy. I have tried to remove as much as I can...probably messing something up in the process...but my computer is still not acting right. I tried to install Malwarebytes and it won't run. I think it was installed properly. I also installed the hijackthis and, so far, it runs properly. I tried to run my antivirus, Avira, earlier today and removed a few things. When I just tried to run a scan, it seemed to go all the way through and then just shut down. Now it won't open at all either. If I could get Malwarebytes to run, maybe I could end this thing??? Argh!
