Pentris Posted August 20, 2017 ID:1155369 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I have version 3.0.6.1469. When selecting Custom Scan the details panel shows the drives available. It will not allow me to select drives using the mouse unlike all other options in Malwarebytes. The only way I can select any drives to scan is with the Tab key and then the four arrow keys. Also can you try upgrading to the latest version and let us know if you are still seeing the issue? I asked it if there was an upgrade and it came back telling me that it was up to date despite the Malwarebytes website saying there was a 3.1 version issued back in June I think. However the following day it came up that there was an update available and has now changed to version 3.1.2.1733. This version is working correctly and I can now select the appropriate drive in the custome scan configuration so the problem was obviously a bug in the previous version. Surely this is a problem with the programme that when it goes and looks for an update it does not see the ones that are waiting. This makes no sense to me. Program updates are rolled out in stages so you will eventually get a notice of the new update. You don't have to come here to the forum to find out about updates. That being said, in the latest versions they have now added a feature that you can force your program to check/upgrade to the latest version if you choose to do so, no matter how they are throttling the installs. To do this all you need to do is the following: Open Malwarebytes Go to Settings Application Tab Click on Install Applications Updates That will force it to check to see if there is a new version available, download and install.
