Hi I cannot find the originator of the solution to a vexing case of Office 365 crashes, but thanks to Ingber as this solution worked. Was getting unknown software exception error after trying to save Word 2016 files. In settings/protection/it is necessary to turn off protection for Office 365. This solves the issue of not being able to save Word docs. Question, will this make my computer more vulnerable to attacks now?
