Post fix for Real Time Protection Here

To MB support!

I just installed my MB on a clean install of Win 1703. I have the same problem described in many posts on the forum from at least a couple of months ago. There is no place I have seen that actually provides a solution.

Popup - Real-time Protection turned off.

Click turn on - nothing.

Go to MB control and turn it on. Instantly reverts to off.

Where is a fix.

My title is to give a single post where people can find the answer. Please do not let us dwon.

 

A bit more information. My copy of MB does not think there are updates. I am going to try downloading the free current copy and see if I can apply my license.

I tried to edit - MB I have is 3.0.6.1469. It says there are no updates.

That's an old version Download the latest update directly from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 and install it over top of your existing installation.
