Permissions issues haven't gone away, and whatever automated permissions repair is supposed to be in place doesn't always work. I'm glad you solved it, and thanks for letting us know! You might want to keep the older version for a little while to evaluate the newer version, or you can just drag "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac" to the trash now. The Vers3 'update' seemed like it included a '30day free trial $upgrade'... if we dont want the free trail version, do we need to delete Vers3 from the folder and Mbam will go back to the Mac 1.2.6 version. Or is there an 'update' along with the 'free trial $upgrade' and we just dont choose to continue it but any update to Mac 1.2.6 will still take effect ?
