So i'm mostly sure ive got a virus/trojan/malware it started with not being able to open task manager, so i scanned my entire pc for a virus and it popped 300+ and i was very confused cause i never have more then 1 a year but anyways so i had it quarintine them but suddenly malwarebytes stopped working i went to reinstall it but the installer said "This Resource is already in use" so i followed this guide but it didnt work cause the rootkit also said that it was in use so i decided to try and reset my pc but the button didnt work i tryed running it in advanced mode to try and do it from there but it just restarted my pc normally and did nothing and so from there it seems like nothing works and im open to suggestions i also tryed using the media tool to reinstall it but the program said it failed

Hi,

Make sure that MBAR is the only program that is running. Close all your open windows and browsers, and do not touch the mouse when the scan is running. It may cause the program to stall. It may be seen unresponsive for a moment but the program is running. Let it run overnight. If it fails, we will take a different approach.
