IP Blocking legit sites

Recommended Posts

Greetings....After updating to the latest version of MBAM, I'm unable to browse www.rense.com.

Using Google's safe browsing tool, I've been unable to validate the block, as Google's diagnostics show not a trace of malware or malware history during the past 90 days on said site.

Can you please allow configuration, or at least verify before blocking IP's?

...have just received the latest definitions. The site remains blocked.

I don't want to abandon the IP block feature, but pending a configuration module and/or accurate indexes - I may have to do just that. I've also notified the site admin that they are currently under blacklist for infection.

The screen print before I reply you.

I'm not going screen for screen....I can post screencaps as well - but I won't.

The module is blocking at least one site in error, I'm just seeking rectification.

Your screencap proves nothing other than the fact you were able to view the site on a screen. No proof that the IP module is installed and active, nor that mine isn't.

I am using IP Protection, see my thread on "IP Protection is interfering Outpost Firewall Update".

Here is another print screen (with the status of IP Protection):

..again - your post appears rather disingenuous. It DOES NOT prove that you infact were able to browse to the site with MBAM IP BLOCK active. You may have merely surfed there and then activated the IP Block and then captured the screen. I have provided evidence to back up my op.

Also, the IP BLOCK dialog continues to appear well after I have attempted navigation to the blocked site, sometimes several times over.

What will I achieve for doing that? Or trying to proof?:)
