Malware Protection won't turn on & MalwareBytes won't turn on @ActionCenter

Problem 1:

I noticed Malwarebytes had Malware Protection off while everything else is on. Tried to turn it on in my settings but it refuses to turn on and reverts to turn off.

Problem 2:

In the Action Center, I had always have Malwarebytes as the main protection but it also refuses to turn on and I can only turn on Windows Defender so I'm using it for the time being. Every time I try to turn on MalwareBytes, it does nothing even though I agree to allow my computer to trust the program

 

I'm not sure what happen since these settings were always on. I included the files and I hope someone can see what's wrong with it

From what I can see, you had an update that came through that didn't complete properly. Can you please try downloading the latest mb3 from https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3 and installing it over top of your existing installation?

I also ran into this problem this morning, have never had this happen before. Cannot turn on malware protection. Will say it's starting and then back to disabled.

I have the same problem, when I hover over the icon, it says "protection disabled"...the only thing I can see that is disabled the the key "Malware Protection: Prevents malware infections". What can I do?

I have version 3.1.2
