Malwarebytes3 & Syncbackfree

I have been running MB3 and Syncbackfree for some time. I have always updated SBF when there is an update.  Today I got a notice that an update to SBF V8.2.8.0 is available and when I started the update it asked me for pemission to close MB3 because it is using files that SBF setup needs to update.  I have never seen this before.  Anyone know if this is legitimate? What files would Syncbackfree be using that exist in MB3? See screen capture attached.

Thanks for reporting the issue... it could be that Malwarebytes is protecting a file that SBF is trying to update and exiting MB3 will allow the install to continue.  Another thing that it could be is if MB3 is registering as your only AV then it could be trying to disable the "AV" before the install.

I would go ahead and let the install continue.

We will see what @dcollins has to say, I think he has another thread that is somewhat similar to this except a different program.
