Why is this marked as a virus?

So this program called Driver Identifier is a very useful for fixing driver issues with windows machines. 

Used it on lots of machines and never had a problem with it.

For some reason Malwarebytes thinks this is a very virus, why?

It is not being identified as a virus, its being tagged as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program).  It is being tagged that way because it installs additional toolbars and such during the install, and probably also because of all the fake links in the main site.

IMO its better to get drivers directly from the manufacture of the product your trying to get a driver for.
